'God is our mighty fortress, always ready to help in times of trouble'

The scripture, which is Psalm 46:1, is the motto of Refuge Pnan, which is a Christian volunteer service organization which runs the school Jayoutuh for serving and nurturing North Korean refugees. There are over 10 million refugees in the world, of which 100 thousand are North Korean refugees located in China. The hardships that refugees go through are a part of God's calling for them to serve a greater purpose.
There are 10 thousand of these precious North Korean refugees who passed God's trials of suffering around us.
Jayoutuh School is a learning ground for truth and freedom, helping North Korean refugees to recognize God's calling and his will for them to become leaders who will lead the nations and North Korean fellows out of the darkness.
"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." (John 8:32)¡±
We pray that the truth and freedom will prosper in Jayoutuh School.

Hoping for a miracle with Jesus' love¡¦.

The North Korean issue, God's trial and blessing for our nation, calls for everyone's participation. Jayoutuh School is a way of responding to such a calling, serving North Korean refugees with God-given gifts to help prepare for the unification of Korea.
Looking forward to the unification and thinking of the problems concerning North Korea, The two incompatible issues of peace in the Korean Peninsula and North Korean civil rights may seem gloomy. Sometimes we need to speak of peace with tyrants and at other times we need to discuss God given rights with those who have been deprived of them. These conflicting problems discourage even the courageous, but we nevertheless endeavor to pray and prepare for the unification of the two Koreas with the hope of God's miracle - without God's helping hands, the two nation's problems are unsolvable.
We seek unification but we first start with the smallest and most practical things. Though serving and helping the North Korean brothers may be the "smallest of all things", we believe that by submitting ourselves to them, God will grant us our heart's desires.
(Matthew 25:23 - "Wonderful!" his master replied. "You are a good and faithful servant. I left you in charge of only a little, but now I will put you in charge of much more. Come and share in my happiness!")
Like the scripture of John 15:13 (the greatest way to show love for friends is to die for them), we do not see North Koreans as inferiors but as brothers and friends whom we should love modestly and serve unconditionally. This we think is the true love of Jesus Christ, and we seek to unite in this love to bless the lives of those under God's protection.
Such is the faith and direction of Jayoutuh.
Though we are small, we hope to be remembered by those who dream with God as "a place where God's people pray and love continuously in each and everyone's lives"
